Work Setting: School-Based Programs & Outpatient/Office-Based Services
We are seeking compassionate, mission-driven licensed therapists to provide high-quality behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families across Baltimore City and Charles County. This role supports both school-based behavioral health programs and direct clinical services in an office or community setting, as needed. The ideal candidate is committed to culturally responsive care, understands community-based service delivery, and is comfortable working in school environments while also providing outpatient therapy services.
RequiredLicensure (Maryland)
Applicants must hold one of the following active Maryland licenses
:
- LMSW – Licensed Master Social Worker
- LCSW-C – Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical
- LGPC – Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor
- LCPC – Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
- Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy services to assigned clients
- Conduct assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation in compliance with Maryland regulations
- Deliver evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical notes and treatment records
- Deliver behavioral health services within school settings
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students with social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs
- Participate in student meetings, care coordination, and intervention planning as required
- Coordinate care with families, case managers, and community partners
- Support program goals aligned with youth development, wellness, and prevention
- Provide consultation and support to program staff when appropriate
- Adhere to Maryland behavioral health regulations and licensing standards
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards at all times
- Participate in supervision (if required based on licensure level)
- Active Maryland license (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC)
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or adults
- Ability to work in school-based and community settings
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Experience in school-based behavioral health or community mental health
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care, SEL, or youth-focused interventions
- Knowledge of Baltimore City or Charles County communities
- Experience working with underserved or diverse populations
