We provide a comprehensive range of services, including employment training and support, day and residential services, family education and support, treatment foster care, assistive technology, respite services, public policy advocacy, and information and referrals.

Our full-time and part-time employees deliver services in people’s homes, workplaces, day centers, and neighborhoods throughout the community.
Job OverviewThis Community Living Coordinator role is a professional services role tasked with implementing The Arc Baltimore’s Mission in a manner that embodies the Core Values for and with supported individuals, their families, friends, and other members of their developing social network.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure that individuals who receive services are supported in realizing their aspirations and goals.
- Respect the choices of individuals and provide information, encouragement, and guidance in the exercise of those choices.
- Ensure that individuals who receive services have opportunities to develop meaningful relationships, and that they receive assistance, modeling, coaching, and support in doing so.
- Ensure that individuals who receive services have opportunities to develop membership in social groups and communities and receive assistance, modeling, coaching, and support in doing so.
- Ensure all services comply with COMAR, Center for Medicaid Services regulations, Board of Nursing regulations, accreditation standards, Department of Labor and The Arc Baltimore’s policies and procedures.
- Report all incidents as required by the Office of Health Care Quality and The Arc Baltimore.
- Hire, manage, evaluate, recognize, coach, supervise, and develop CL House Managers. Indirectly supervise the DSPs in homes with House Managers and directly supervise DSPs in homes without House Managers.
- Once a month a meeting is required to meet with House Managers.
- Ensure all House Mangers and DSPs are properly on boarded and given the proper tools for success to include mentoring and ongoing coaching.
- Work cooperatively with intra and external agency professionals and stakeholders to implement The Arc Baltimore’s mission, including supporting individuals who receive services in their employment aspirations.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of data and information in ICM, etc.
- Oversee house schedules to verify they meet the needs of people supported as funded. Ensure staffing meets all funding and documentation requirements including ensuring dedicated hours are provided as outlined in the person’s plan. Verify staff use The Arc Baltimore’s time management system and comply with the agency’s policies and procedure. Confirm staffing stays within the budget and strategize ways to avoid excessive use of overtime.
- On-call 24 hours a day for 7 days.
- Conduct monthly home visits and ensure follow-up actions on identified issues are completed and the home is up to agency standards and expectations.
- Ensure all reports, monthly expenditure reports, and data are submitted and analyzed each month.
