Description:

This is a straight rehabilitation unit position.
The role involves caring for patients primarily recovering from acute strokes.
Patients may also include those with cardiac issues, weakness, deconditioning, and other needs for acute rehabilitation.
The unit has 17 beds and maintains a small team dynamic.
The nurse to patient ratio is 1:5.
The position requires willingness to float within skill set if the census is low.
Every other weekend and holiday coverage is necessary.
There is no on-call requirement.
