Clinical Technicians at Johns Hopkins Hospital
Clinical Technicians provide highly skilled and compassionate patient- and family-centered care as contributing members of the healthcare team. Ongoing education is provided to ensure all technicians perform at the highest level of their certification and scope of practice. During the first year, technicians attend eight days of training off the unit to support personal and professional development.
Pediatric Oncology Inpatient UnitThis unit combines Medical Oncology and Stem cell transplant patients, including leukemia, brain tumors, sarcomas, neuroblastoma, and Wilms tumor, as well as non-malignant diseases such as sickle cell disease and aplastic anemia. Patients age range from birth to 26 years.
Qualifications and Experience- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- One year of clinical experience (home care, outpatient, or acute care preferred)
- Nursing Assistant Certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
Minimum $18.41/hour – Maximum $27.70/hour. Compensation is commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
Location and ScheduleJohns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 – Rotating Shift, Full Time.
