Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking aClinical Fellow – SLPto join our Special Education team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities.
Exciting CF opportunity to work with a team of supportive SLPs. Work with elementary, high school, and transitional students (up to 21 years old) with complex communication needs and significant behavioral challenges. Many AAC/AT learning opportunities. Students earn certificates of completion as they work to develop functional life skills in this collaborative and specialized interdisciplinary setting.
What You’ll Do:As a Clinical Fellow, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to:
- Deliverspeech/language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing assessments and treatmentstailored to each patient’s unique needs.
- Develop and implementindividualized treatment plansthat empower patients and families.
- Collaborate ininterdisciplinary team conferencesand professional development activities.
- Maintaincomprehensive documentationin line with MSDE, ASHA, COMAR, and accreditation standards.
- Participate incommunity outreachand departmental initiatives.
- Master’s degree inSpeech-Language Pathology.
- Limited Licensefrom the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathologists.
- CPR certification.
