Position:
Emergency Room Nurse

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and possess a current RN license with the Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State (if resident of that state). The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years of other acute care experience.

The candidate must hold a valid BLS certification and be willing to obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire. PALS and Hazmat certifications are also required within one year of hire. Preference will be given to candidates who are certified in Emergency Nursing.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This includes assessing patients, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans. The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues.

In addition to clinical responsibilities, the candidate will also be expected to complete orientation according to policy and procedures. This will include training on emergency protocols, equipment, and documentation procedures.
