Imaging Team Lead - Ultrasound
Med Star Health is looking for an Imaging Team Lead - Ultrasound to join our team at Med Star Franklin Square Hospital Center. This position is full-time, varied hours, 4‑9 hr shifts. Offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for a limited time.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities- Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
- Acquires ordered images including evaluating these images for technical quality. Sends images to appropriate destinations for interpretation.
- Coordinates the daily activities of staff consistent with workload requirements and available personnel.
- Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains diagnostic and other equipment in efficient operating order; performs regularly scheduled quality control.

- Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures.
- Prepares documentation as required by the profession and the department. Completes necessary clerical and computer tasks as required.
- Requests and orders supplies as necessary to keep materials on hand at all times.
- Participates in multi‑disciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
- High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent required.
- 1–2 years technologist experience within assigned/credentialed modality.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) required.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
This position has a hiring range of USD $42.82 – USD $78.27 /Hr.
