The Clinical Customer Service Representative works as the central point of contact on the care unit for patients, families, visitors, and members of the health care team. This is a fast‑paced position that requires professional, friendly, and efficient performance of daily duties. The ideal candidate possesses the highest level of customer service skills, knowledge of information & computer systems, and the ability to work and assist with nursing staff & administrative staff, all in the effort to meet the needs of the unit and department in accordance with Johns Hopkins Hospital policy and procedures.

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months in a healthcare or office setting.
- Substantial interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and medical staff.
- Ability to initiate and build positive relationships following Johns Hopkins Customer Service standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and preference for presentation and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to learn and incorporate a variety of clinical and administrative automated systems and software into daily work duties.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.99/hour - Maximum $20.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
