Outpatient Ortho Physical Therapist Assistant

Location: Nova Care Rehabilitation, Baltimore (Pikesville), MD

Compensation: $29-$35/hour

• Treat a diverse patient population from teens to older adults
• Work alongside experienced clinicians in a supportive, mentorship‑driven setting
• Gain exposure to a wide range of specialties, including:
  Orthopedics, Neuro & vestibular rehabilitation, Concussion management, Sports medicine, ReVital cancer rehabilitation, Dry needling, Fall prevention programs

• Full‑time, 40 hours/week
• Two evening shifts per week (last patient scheduled one hour before close)

• Licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) in Maryland and eligible to practice in the state
• Certified by the CAPTE and valid state PTA license (or license in process)
• CPR certification
• College graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Strong communication and collaborative skills, with a passion for patient care

• Provide patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by the State Practice Act
• Implement high‑quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with practice standards and Select Medical policies and procedures
• Maintain positive interactions with centers and patients, and expand client relations with center staff
