Full‑time, Day Shift (40 hours per week, weekdays)

Salary Range: $27.97 per hour – $46.18 per hour (commensurate with experience). $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

• Practice as an expert applying the nutrition care process and theory.
• Document in the medical record using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standardized language as part of the Nutrition Care Process.
• Perform nutrition assessments, identify nutrition diagnoses, recommend and implement nutrition care plans based on evidence‑based practice. Identify appropriate nutrition diagnosis and malnutrition criteria. Address age‑specific physical, psychosocial and cultural needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote wellness, maintain current health, or intervene in acute or chronic illness. Communicate the nutrition plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide education at the appropriate level/learning mode for the patient/family and document a learning assessment, assessment of patient’s readiness to learn, teaching methods, and response to information provided.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Knowledge of food science, biochemistry, physiology, management science, behavioral science and social science as applied to human nutrition.
• Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as a Dietitian‑Nutritionist (LDN) in Maryland.
• Entry‑level applicants will be considered.
