Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is hiring for a Clinical Dietitian in the Children’s Center
Schedule:
- 40 hours
- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $55 per hour
Requirements- Work collaboratively with a cutting‑edge multi‑disciplinary health‑care team to promote wellness, maintain current health, and/or intervene in acute or chronic illness through evidence‑based practices.
- Involve the assessment and individualized care for our diverse patient population, including patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets, based on the patient’s health‑care needs.
- Work with the health‑care team and provide medical nutrition therapy in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assess patients’ nutrition risk, nutritional needs, and recommend appropriate nutrition intervention.
- Provide nutrition education to patients and their families and document patient’s progress in the medical record.
- Work with Nutrition Services department to ensure patients receive appropriate foods for the diet order.
- Precept and coordinate learning experiences for dietetic interns.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Licensed as a Dietitian‑Nutritionist in Maryland.
- At least one year of experience working in an inpatient hospital setting is required.
- Experience with pediatric patients is highly preferred.
