Patient Representative- Labor And Delivery

Shift

7am-3:00pm Mon-Fri.

Works in conjunction with the Nursing staff and administrative staff to provide the highest level of Customer Service for the Emergency Department. The Patient Representative must be proficient in hospital services, policies and procedures. Daily task will include, but are not limited to, greeting patients, assisting in directing the flow of patients and visitors, being a source of information to patients and visitors in the waiting room, de-escalating situations as required, providing emotional support as needed to family members and patients.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires knowledge of general policies and procedures of the Patient Representative program, normally acquired over 3-6 months in position.
• Substantial interpersonal skills need to frequently interact with patients, families and medical staff.
• Advance communication skills.
• Knowledge of general office equipment.

Minimum 17.11/hour - Maximum 28.26/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
