Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to join our team at Lifeline Pharmacy
! As a pharmacist in charge, you will receive incoming prescriptions, review them for accuracy, and fill them with the correct medicine and dose. You will also talk with customers to help them understand their medications and possible side effects, advise on medication storage, and maintain a safe, clean work environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is familiar with pharmaceutical best practices.
- Dispensing prescriptions, compounding, and selling pharmaceuticals, medicines, and related drug items on behalf of the company.
- Maintain proper records related to purchase and dispensing of prescription drugs, including controlled substances.
- Manage medication handling and safety.
- Remove misbranded, adulterated, or improperly labeled drugs from stock.
- Ensure proper storage of drugs to prevent loss or deterioration.
- Ensure pharmacy coverage by licensed pharmacists.
- Prevent unauthorized refills, sales of restricted drugs, and unauthorized entry into the dispensing/compounding area.
- Provide patient support and education; maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Perform all tasks assigned to a licensed professional in this field.
- Maintain license status and continuing education credentials.
- Ensure compliance with New York State Board of Pharmacy wholesaler registration, if applicable.
- Operate in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Issue verbal and written notices to employees regarding pharmacy practice regulations.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, staffing, safety, and maintenance of the pharmacy, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work a schedule that may fluctuate to accommodate staffing and extended days off.
- Current state pharmacist license or degree.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
- A Pharm.
D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) with immunization certification.

- 50 hours per week

Pay Rate- Bi‑weekly
- $55–60 per hour, based on experience
