We are hiring a Licensed Psychologist (LP) to conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental differences. This role is perfect for a clinician who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference.
What You’ll Do- Perform diagnostic assessments using standardized tools such as ADOS‑2, ADI‑R, CARS, or DISCO.
- Deliver results to families with clarity and compassion.
- Write thorough reports and submit them within 7 days of each evaluation.
- Offer follow‑up guidance to support families with the next steps in care.
- Operate as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) per NC Medicaid standards.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure comprehensive, child‑centered care.
- Help maintain clinic audit readiness and contribute to quality improvement efforts.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and ethical clinical practices.
- Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Active Maryland LP or LPA license
. - Experience with autism evaluations and standardized diagnostic tools.
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and compassionately in a team setting.
- Previous clinic-based experience is preferred but not required.
