Gladstone Psychiatry and Wellness is currently hiring Child/Adolescent Therapists to join our practice. Gladstone has a remarkable longevity of employment - while the practice staff is large, the atmosphere is warm and close-knit. We have hybrid work opportunities at our beautiful clinics in Baltimore, Columbia, Hunt Valley, and Frederick, MD.
- Establishes rapport and develops a therapeutic relationship with children/adults and families.
- Minimum of 25 hours of therapy weekly
- Provides therapy services to individuals and/or families Provides crisis intervention when necessary and can differentiate between emergency and non-emergency tasks, and responds accordingly.
- Maintains appropriate professional boundaries.
- Assessment, evaluation, and treatment consistently reflects advanced competency in psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, and patient care.
- Assesses problems appropriately in terms of scope, consequences, and needed interventions.
- Places a priority on continuing education and advancing skills as standards of practice, theories, and treatment modalities change.
- Maintains an awareness of applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements as they relate to client documentation and patient care.
- Assumes accountability for providing appropriate documentation of all therapy/counseling sessions, significant incident occurrences, phone conversations, etc., consistent with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Works effectively and participates actively with admin staff and multidisciplinary treatment team on a regular basis, including ongoing collaboration of care with medication management providers.
Our ideal candidate has the following:
- Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or associated field.
- In addition to seasoned therapists, early career LMSW's, LGPC's or LGMFT are encouraged to apply.
- LCSW-C, LCPC or LCMFT
- Licensed Clinical Psychologists (PhD or PsyD)
- Licensed and in good standing to practice counseling/therapy in Maryland.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- A board approved supervisor is a plus.
