Napp Star is seeking a Loc Stylist with a passion for locs who wants to become an expert! This is an ideal position for a loc stylist with experience who still seeks coaching and support. The Napp Star model encourages skill growth with a supportive team. Full-time and part-time applicants are welcome.

Stylist Pay

• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships
• Physical requirements include standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 10 pounds, repetitive movements, bending, stooping, and talking
• Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment

• Expert shampoo services and treatments
• Basic comb retwist skills (3-7 per shift)
• Basic loc styling skills
• Crochet experience is a plus

• Arrive on time for shifts
• Clock in/out as required
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a quality work environment
• Perform services within time standards
• Adhere to uniform standards, including hair
• Complete open/close tasks per shift
• Follow salon standards for services, behavior, and workflow
• Understand and educate clients about services and products
• Keep workspace clean and hygienic
• Service clients according to Napp Star standards
• Develop relationships with clients and welcome new ones
• Assist colleagues during busy times
• Communicate effectively with the Front Desk
• Create content for salon marketing
• Stay updated with the latest styles and trends
• Provide excellent salon experiences
• Participate in check-ins and reviews
• Offer free redo services when necessary
• Maintain consistent attendance
• Care for equipment and products properly
• Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards
• Report issues to management
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Handle client questions professionally
• Work independently
• Attend training and staff meetings
• Support salon operations as needed
• Work during designated blackout dates and support the schedule flexibility
