Accounting Manager

Acre is proud to partner with an emerging infrastructure business, helping to secure more reliable energy and renewable resources across the United States. We're looking for a senior accountant leader with experience and a passion for building better businesses and developing teammates.

• Lead the monthly financial close process, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Prepare management and operational reporting packages.
• Improve the accuracy and completeness of financial budgets and forecasts aligned with business strategy.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure accurate, complete, and timely recording of transactions through strong internal controls.
• Oversee the accuracy and productivity of day‑to‑day accounting functions, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general ledger accounting, and cost accounting.
• Perform financial analysis to support business initiatives, capital expenditures, product costing, and special projects.
• Partner with cross-functional peers to share insights and support best‑practice development.
• Coordinate with external auditors, financial institutions, insurance partners, credit card providers, collection agencies, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage a small team of more junior accountants.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and working with ERPs to support operational needs.
• Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, charts, and presentations to convey financial concepts.
• Previous experience managing junior accounting or finance professionals.
