Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities for organizational operations, including overseeing hotel-related financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Conduct monthly close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and address variances in a timely manner.
- Provide audit support by gathering necessary documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage grants and related financial reporting.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and affiliated entities to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Utilize Sage 300 software effectively while supporting the transition to Net Suite.
- Maintain adherence to organizational policies and procedures in all financial activities.
- Partner with leadership to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in month-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and bank reconciliation procedures.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 software; familiarity with Net Suite is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Previous experience working with grants and related financial reporting is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
- Ability to work onsite daily in an environment that requires attention to detail and offers high visibility.
