Expected salary range of $227,700 to $253,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

With the VP of Investor Relations, lead the investor relations activities, including, but not limited to investor messaging and other strategic company messaging, develop and execute earnings call or analyst day presentations as well as responsibility for the event itself. The Director of Investor Relations will be a key interface between the company and the investment community, which includes current and potential institutional investors, sell‑side analysts and fixed income investors and analysts.

Along with the VP, the director is responsible for communicating Constellation’s strategic, financial, operational and regulatory goals and results to the street, resulting in the appropriate valuation of Constellation’s stock. The Director will lead a team of two developing, implementing and executing on analysis, process and projects within the Investor Relations department, focused on the areas of market surveillance; communications/messaging;

shareholder analysis; valuation and analyst research; earnings release preparation; and regular interaction with buy‑side and sell‑side.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Investor and Sell Side Communication:
    Maintain regular communication with sell‑side analysts and investment community.
  • Engage in proactive outreach on specific topics of interest and significant Constellation (CEG) announcements and respond in a complete and timely fashion to all investor/analyst requests.
  • Lead the planning for sell‑side conferences, investor meetings, including non‑deal roadshows including identification of target investors for scheduling and other logistical aspects of the meetings.
  • Effectively lead quarterly earnings release and investor conference call process including development of key themes for the quarterly call, investor slides, earnings release, prepare remarks, Q&A preparation, through active interface with various operating company personnel.
  • Actively provide information to investment community.
  • Shareholder and other Analysis:
    Understand shareholders concerns and perceptions of company. Perform research and analytics on CEG’s shareholders and shareholders of peers in order to identify trends, identify new potential investors to be targeted, and prepare reports of shareholder trends/types/shifts/activity for senior management on a formal and as‑needed basis. Perform ad hoc analyses based on current market conditions or internal initiatives, as needed.
  • Market Surveillance:
    Perform research and analytics to obtain surveillance on market performance and expectations for CEG and peer companies. Prepare and distribute to CEG management and board stock updates as needed.
  • Actively respond to all internal requests for IR information and support, including presenting at various staff meetings across the organization.
  • Lead a high performing staff of 2 IR professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum of 12 years combined experience in sell‑side or buy‑side research, investment banking, corporate development, corporate reporting, finance, regulatory market development and affairs, and/or…
