Position Summary

Under general supervision, and following established policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for providing administrative support to commercial loan and deposit teams with respect to day-to-day member needs. Provides the highest level of service to ensure the appropriate and expedient processing, booking, servicing and other business ancillary products and services. Extremely detail-oriented and able to work at a fast pace requiring a balance of customer service duties and operations.

Duties may vary from time to time as assigned by management and will be of a similar nature to other already assigned duties.

Work Location

This position is located at Corporate Headquarters in Downtown Baltimore. The incumbent will be required to report in office for this role. Upon completion of 90 days, the incumbent may work a hybrid schedule.

Education
  • High School Diploma – Required
  • General Education Degree (GED) – in lieu of HS Diploma
Experience
  • Associates Degree in Business – Preferred
  • Two (2) to three (3) years of Lending/Deposit experience – Preferred
  • Notary Public – Maryland – Preferred
Qualifications / Essential Functions
  • Manage Escrow process – Handle all escrow accounting to include taxes, insurance, ground rents, water bills and complete annual escrow analysis.
  • Disburse loan proceeds and on-board loans in the Credit Union's core system (FISERV DNA).
  • Order and process appraisals, environmental, property condition reports, and appraisal reviews for commercial loans.
  • Obtain financial information – Prepare financial statement request letters, monitor receipt of financial statements, scan financials into the share drive, and advise lenders.
  • Loan Servicing – Manage loan files and resolve issues related to loan servicing.

Compensation

Salary range per hour, depending on experience and qualifications: $18.27 – $26.54
