Primary responsibilities of the Security Settlements department include executing on the settlement of Fixed Income and Equity Securities, managing firm deficits and overall inventory, minimizing buy-in and regulatory risk, executing client asset transfers, and managing segregation of client assets for Fixed Income, Institutional Equity, Bank Resource Management and Prime Brokerage divisions. The successful candidate will assist with standard settlement, break and fail resolution, stakeholder communication, firm training, escalating risk, procedure updates and contributing to ongoing projects including new Settlements Platforms, Predictive Analytics, Risk Matrix, AGILE work methods and LEAN agenda.

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide accurate and timely responses to inquiries
• Ability to work in a structured, high volume and time sensitive environment
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to details and strong risk awareness
• Strong verbal and written business communication skills
• Basic accounting skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Equity and/or Fixed Income products and settlement market rules is a plus, but not required
