** How You Will Contribute:
** Reporting to the Director - FP&A, the Advisor - FP&A will play a pivotal role in fostering trusted relationships across the organization to deliver financial planning, management reporting, and analysis. This position is critical in providing key insights and recommendations to help achieve financial and strategic objectives.
* Manage and oversee all financial aspects related to the Supply Chain organization, including results analysis and both short- and long-term planning.
* Monitor supply chain financial performance, interpret variances, identify challenges, and recommend actions to align the organization with financial goals.
* Lead the forecasting process for Supply Chain, focusing on Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and key supply chain metrics.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to drive process improvements and deliver actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
* Build cross-functional relationships with Supply Chain leaders to understand operational drivers and support decision-making with financial insights.
* Influence global supply chain teams to ensure alignment with financial objectives and strategies.
* Support the advancement of Integrated Business Planning initiatives, utilizing tools like Anaplan, with a focus on supply chain processes and metrics.
** The Must Haves:
*** Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with extensive experience in accounting, finance, and financial planning and analysis within mid to large technology organizations.
* Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and analytics (Excel/modeling databases), paired with strong business intuition.
** Nice to Haves:
*** Proven experience as a Business Partner to Supply Chain teams.
* Knowledge of inventory and cost flows, as well as accounting transactions.
* Familiarity with Oracle Financials and Oracle Inventory systems.
* Proficiency in using Anaplan for financial planning and analysis.
** Pay Range:
** Canada: $87,800 - $140,200

USA: $104,000 - $ 160,000

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
