The Field Shop Technician is responsible for organizing, assembling, and tracking flight pack systems. In close collaboration with their supervisor and the asset management team, this role ensures all show requirements are prepared and ready for use by our field technicians.
- Help build, test and maintain flight pack systems for live broadcasting events
- Assists in project planning, resource allocation and prioritization to ensure the timely delivery of solutions to meet all operational requirements.
- Communicates equipment availability concerns to Operations as soon as they are known.
- Generates, maintains and updates accurate documentation of equipment lists.
- Provides the Inventory Control Coordinator with the appropriate shipping details to ensure a timely arrival and return of all System Support Road case assets.
- Works together with all Service Delivery Team members, setting daily priorities and assisting each other during busy times.
- Attend regularly scheduled Service Delivery meetings and other appropriate meetings as required.
- This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, and maintaining order in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- You’ll bring your practical knowledge, efficiency, and communication skills to help the team perform at its best every day.
- 2-5 years’ experience in the broadcast field preferred.
- Proven experience in logistics operations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed and work flexible hours for live events
