Blind Tiger Catering is a high energy mobile bar and catering company specializing in weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties. We create elevated, design forward event experiences that blend hospitality, creativity, and flawless execution.
We are hiring a hands on Event Operations and Sales Manager to help lead bookings, manage backend systems, and execute events from contract to completion. This is not a desk only role. This is a hybrid position combining sales, operations, logistics, and on site event leadership. Position OverviewThe Event Operations and Sales Manager is responsible for managing event bookings, contracts, client communication, inventory oversight, logistics preparation, and working events on site. You will play a key role in revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence. This role reports directly to ownership.
Core Responsibilities- Respond to incoming event inquiries
- Prepare and send proposals, contracts, and invoices
- Follow up on leads and close bookings
- Upsell enhancements and maximize event revenue
- Track booked revenue and pipeline progress
- Serve as primary client contact from booking through event execution
- Confirm menus, bar selections, timelines, staffing, and logistics
- Manage and maintain boards and event workflows
- Track deposits and final payments
- Maintain organized and accurate event documentation

- Ensure contracts and documentation are complete and organized
- Oversee inventory of bar supplies, decor, and equipment
- Place alcohol and supply orders
- Batch cocktails and prep ingredients for events
- Pack, stage, and prepare event materials
- Ensure vehicles, trailers, and equipment are event ready
- Work weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties as bartender, server, or event captain
- Lead event setup and breakdown
- Supervise staff on site and maintain high service standards
- Problem solve in real time to ensure seamless execution
- Represent the Blind Tiger brand professionally at all events
- Capture event content while actively working
- Attend wedding expos, networking events, and festivals
- Assist with lead capture and follow up
- Support decor sourcing and styling
- Capture event content and post real time Instagram and Facebook stories and short form video to support brand growth
- Hospitality or event management experience required
- Sales or client facing experience required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with CRM or project management systems preferred
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift 40 to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in fast paced event environments bartending & serving
- Self motivated and detail oriented
- Hourly Administrative Rate: $22 to $24 per hour based on experience
- Event Rate:
Bartender or server staff hourly plus participation in auto gratuity when actively working events - Commission Structure:
- 2% on events booked between $2,000 and $5,999
- 3% on events $6,000 and above
- Commission applies to events personally booked and closed from inquiry to execution.
- On target earnings range from $50,000 to $70,000 annually depending on event volume and performance.
Approximately 30 to 40 hours per week including event hours
- Weekend and evening availability required
