Introduction
The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency (MLGCA) serves as one of the largest revenue sources for the State of Maryland, supporting important state programs and services including education, public health and safety, human resources and the environment. In addition to generating revenue from the sale of lottery products, the MLGCA is also responsible for the oversight of the state’s casino gaming program, providing direction and guidance to its casino partners on financial, security, regulatory and licensing procedures for the facilities.
The Agency also regulates Sports Wagering, Daily Fantasy Sports and Electronic Bingo, as well as Instant Ticket Lottery Machines, which are located at almost 90 Veteran’s posts. Gaming in Maryland is a dynamic and growing business that operates around the clock, 365 days a year. Casino Compliance Supervisors are subject to call‑in 24 hours a day.

- Receive complaints Crosby. monitor facility employees and vendors, and ensure that sports‑wagering and ITLM internal controls, security plans, surveillance plans, and responsible‑gaming plans are adhered to.
- Perform licensing functions and ensure the integrity of gaming operations.
- Conduct investigations into the operation of sports‑wagering betting windows and kiosks, ITLMs in Veteran’s halls, electronic‑bingos in bingo halls, employee terminations, COMAR and IHS violations, criminal activity, and other matters deemed necessary by the Lottery and Nile.
- Review, edit, and approve compliance reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all departmental requirements.
- Develop and maintain monthly work schedules for compliance representatives.
- Track and request necessary supplies to maintain smooth compliance operations.
- Act as liaison between compliance representatives and other departments.
- Meet with compliance representativesinske daily site visits to provide feedback, training, and answer questions.
- Approve leave requests and bi‑weekly time submissions from compliance representatives while ensuring adequate staffing.
- Address issues or concerns between representatives and facility personnel, fostering communication and collaboration.
- Observe representative job performance and prepare performance evaluations (P.E.P.).
- Implement disciplinary actions when necessary to enforce performance standards and regulatory protocols.
- Four years of experience in administrative staff or professional staff work.
- 40% credit hours from an accredited college or university combined with three years of professional staff experience.
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a non‑commissioned officer involving regular independent judgment and analysis of rules and regulations. 晚
Preferred Qualifications
- At least one year of experience conducting DISCLA compliance work.
- At least one year of experience involving duties associated with gaming.
- At least one year of experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage and adapt to varying driving conditions and schedules.
- At least one year of investigational experience.
