AboutThe Role
As a Reworld intern, you’ll take part in meaningful, hands‑on projects that drive Reworld’s business of transforming waste into value. Interns contribute to real sustainability initiatives while learning from experienced professionals who lead with safety, integrity, and customer focus. You’ll be encouraged to share ideas, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and take accountability for impactful work that supports a smarter, more sustainable future.
WhatYou'll Do
- Conduct hazard assessments and assist with updating SOPs and JSAs
- Safety Improvement Projects – Fall protection, machine guarding, walking working surfaces or similar
- Standardization of JSAs, SOPs and Safety Procedures
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Health and Safety curriculums or related discipline.
- Motivated self‑starter who is passionate about sustainability and interested in learning more about innovative waste solutions.
- Strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative, safety‑oriented environment.

Pay TransparencyReworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $42,800.00 - $56,900.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
