Electrical Designer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking an Electrical Designer with 10-15 years of experience who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of assigned projects and collaborating with architects, outside engineering consultants, building code officials, manufacturers, contractors, vendors, developers, and clients. Senior engineers will manage and assign tasks to engineers/designers and perform quality assurance/quality control on all project documents. Candidate must be able to work well on a team as well as independently and be a good communicator.

• Design of power distribution, receptacle and lighting layout, and circuiting
• Develop one-line diagrams
• Complete panel board schedules
• Fire alarm device layout

3+ years of electrical design (mechanical is a plus). Must be able to look at a panel board / breaker and knows it. 3+ years of AutoCAD/Revit design experience in a consulting environment. Must be able to take direction from engineers.

Intermediate Level

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, MD.

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $/yr.

This is a hybrid position in Baltimore, MD.
