A company is looking for a Principal Engineer for the Vanguard Team.
Key Responsibilities Lead the research, design, and development of algorithms and ML models for vehicle decision-making and robustness Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect a holistic system maximizing safety and performance Architect dynamic simulation scenarios to validate expanded operational design domains (ODDs) and ensure rigorous testing
Required Qualifications Expertise in robotics decision making, motion planning, and controls algorithms Experience in designing and delivering complex robotic or automation systems Proficiency in writing software for safety-critical embedded systems using C++, Rust, or similar
Experience with testing, verification, and validation of systems with functional safety requirements Familiarity with Linux operating systems and troubleshooting in terminal environments
