About the Role
This engineering role focuses on supporting RF and digital hardware through development, integration, and production testing. It offers a hands-on environment with daily technical challenges, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of hardware performance and delivery. The position is ideal for engineers who enjoy troubleshooting, data analysis, and optimizing test processes.
* 2nd & 3rd Shift
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement hardware test methods and test equipment
- Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting for RF and digital hardware
- Support production hardware integration and First Time Through Test Yield (FTTTY)
- Analyze test data to identify trends and potential issues
- Recommend improvements to test equipment, test processes, and procedures
- Collaborate with design engineering to implement hardware improvements
- Train and support test technicians with troubleshooting guidance
- Monitor product yield and ensure yield targets are met
- Participate in program meetings to report issues, yield detractors, and corrective actions
- Work closely with manufacturing, test, design, systems engineering, and program teams
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
- RF Test Engineer: 2+ years of experience
- Principal: 5+ years of experience
- OR Master's in related field with 0-3+ years of experience (depending on level)
- Experience with RF hardware and software
- Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, schematics, and block diagrams
- Advanced STEM degree
- Experience with FPGA
- Lab Windows CVI, C, or C++ programming
- Test Stand programming
- Experience with digital, analog, RF testing, and high-speed digital
- Experience with differential interfaces such as LVDS
- PXI/PXIe or VME bus experience
- Strong hands-on electrical hardware troubleshooting skills
