Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Automation Engineer to work on enterprise-grade automation initiatives, including Disaster Recovery (DR) automation and infrastructure provisioning.
The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions for servers, network components, middleware, and DR site recovery processes.
The engineer will collaborate with orchestration teams and work across multiple automation platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop infrastructure automation workflows
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks (Ansible or similar tools)
- Automate server provisioning, configuration, and validation
- Support DR site provisioning and automated recovery workflows
- Implement idempotent and fault-tolerant automation logic
- Integrate automation with orchestration platforms (e.g., Control-M or similar tools)
- Automate VM provisioning (VMware / Cloud)
- Manage configuration drift and environment consistency
- Participate in DR drills and automation testing
- 4+ years experience in Infrastructure / Automation domain
- Strong hands-on experience with Ansible Automation tool.
- Strong playbook or automation script development experience
- Linux system administration (RHEL preferred)
- Experience in VMware / Cloud infrastructure automation
- Knowledge of scripting (Bash / Python)
- Understanding of infrastructure lifecycle management
- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform / Tower
- Exposure to enterprise schedulers / orchestration tools (Control-M, etc.)
- Experience in Disaster Recovery automation
- Network automation exposure
- CI/CD pipeline integration
- 4-10 years total IT experience
- 3+ years in infrastructure automation
- Occasional travel to our client offices in Middle East.
- Experience working with Middle East or global customers.
This role requires strong hands-on automation development.
Platform administration-only profiles without scripting/playbook development exposure may not be suitable.
