Responsibilities

Safe, compliant, and well-managed laboratory environments are critical to mission success. Environmental protection, occupational safety, and regulatory compliance are essential to ensuring operational continuity and workforce well-being—and that requires rigorous oversight and proactive risk management. That’s why we need you, an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Technician who understands how to implement and enforce comprehensive safety programs

As an Environmental Health and Safety professional, you’ll collaborate with laboratory personnel, project leaders, and safety stakeholders to manage and enhance LPS Occupational Safety and Health programs. You’ll develop and maintain environmental SOPs in accordance with requirements, conduct inspections and safety audits, and manage the hazardous chemical inventory.

Using sound environmental health and safety practices, you’ll investigate accidents and incidents, coordinate remediation plans, oversee decontamination procedures, and ensure protective equipment remains compliant and operational.

You’ll serve as a liaison to our clients Office of Occupational Health, Environmental & Safety Services (OHESS), maintain safety documentation, and support emergency response coordination. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in regulatory compliance, hazardous material management, and workplace safety to safeguard personnel, facilities, and mission-critical operations.

Qualifications
  • Experience with providing environmental protection, occupational safety, and health services for programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
  • Experience with conducting safety audits and workplace inspections; managing hazardous material inventories; and investigating accidents and incidents
  • Experience with hazardous material handling and storage procedures, and safety documentation standards
  • Experience with drafting and implementing environmental standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience with identifying and addressing workplace safety concerns
  • Experience developing and coordinating remediation plans
  • Expeirence ensuring compliance with hazardous material labeling and SDS requirements
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Department of Defense safety requirements or NSA environmental guidelines
  • TS/SCI with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science (e.g., Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, Natural Resources Management) or a related field and 7+ years of experience
  • Hazardous Material Manager Certification

  • Ability to oversee decontamination procedures
  • Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders, OHESS, and emergency services

Clearance
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI with a polygraph is required.

Compensation at Ever Watch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62.12 to $80.68 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of Ever Watch’s total compensation package for employees.
