Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a talented and experienced Principal Quality Analyst to join the Advanced Tactical Program (ATP) Quality Team at the BWI plant in Baltimore, Maryland
.
- Work with a peer on a hardware LRM being developed for the ATP program
- Participate in root cause corrective action activities
- Participate in the troubleshooting of the hardware LRU/LRMs assigned
- Help develop rework procedures/instructions
- Meet with suppliers to help resolve supplier product deficiencies
- Work with Program Engineering/Manufacturing to troubleshoot hardware issues
- Collect metric data on assigned hardware LRU/LRM and present data at monthly PCAB meeting
- Conduct process reviews to provide process validation, improve productivity and performance
- Perform AS9100 audits to ensure compliance with standard requirements.
- Prepare, maintain and review quality assurance procedures to assure compliance with customer and/or government requirements.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written), and organizational skills. Must work well in a team setting.
- Coordinate with the NGC Global Supply Chain (GSC), and the Supplier Quality and Mission Assurance functions to enhance cross harmonization of activities and initiatives.
- Attention to detail and works with an appropriate sense of urgency.
- Additional relevant duties as required by the program.
- Bachelor s degree and 5 years of related experience; or a Master s degree with 3 years of related experience; or 1 year of related experience with a PhD; or 9 years of related experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor s degree
- Experience with conducting process audits
- Experience with developing manufacturing work aids/instructions
- Experience with SAP transactions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a current DoD Secret security clearance
- US Citizenship required
- Advanced experience using SAP/S4 ERP system
Primary Level Salary Range: $89,900.00 - $
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
