, who is actively searching for an experienced Building Automation Technician to work onsite for an opportunity paying up to $60/hour plus company vehicle and 100% employer-paid family healthcare
. This role supports service coverage across the Greater Baltimore and Washington DC regions, with Columbia, MD serving as an ideal central location. The position focuses on installation, commissioning, programming, and optimization of building automation systems across commercial environments while collaborating closely with engineering and field service teams.

• Minimum of 5+ years of field experience supporting building automation, HVAC controls, or electrical service environments
• Niagara N4 certification and hands-on programming experience required
• Journeyman HVAC or Electrical license preferred
• Strong knowledge of BAS hardware, DDC logic, and control network architecture
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, sequences of operation, and submittal documentation
• Experience supporting multiple BAS platforms such as Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Alerton, or similar systems
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel throughout assigned territory
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across complex automation systems

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot building automation and controls systems across commercial facilities
• Perform system checkout, startup activities, and commissioning to ensure operational performance
• Assist with automation design efforts, graphics development, and sequence programming documentation
• Provide preventative maintenance, emergency service response, and system performance optimization
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and field teams on project scope, estimating support, and implementation planning
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior technicians while promoting standardized best practices
• Support as needed
