Overview

A leading engineering firm is seeking a licensed Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead HVAC and plumbing system projects across commercial, institutional, and government sectors. This role combines technical design with project leadership, client engagement, and team mentoring.

• Manage mechanical design from concept to construction.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Lead proposals and support business development efforts.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster team growth.

• Lead the mechanical design process for HVAC and plumbing systems from concept through construction.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success and alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Engage with clients, respond to inquiries, and present design approaches and solutions.
• Contribute to proposal development and support business development activities where appropriate.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering; PE license required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and load calculation software.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and deliver quality service.
