Location: CA or DC (Onsite)
Compensation: $120,000 - $170,000 | Full-time, Permanent
Clearance: Active or Eligibility to Obtain TS/SCI
We’re seeking a skilled SAR Engineer to help advance the next generation of space-based radar imaging technology, supporting one of the most innovative Earth observation satellite programs in operation today. You’ll design and develop software solutions that turn complex radar data into actionable intelligence, working across teams to deliver high-performance, scalable systems that power real-world insights from orbit.
In this role, you’ll:- Design, build, and maintain SAR data processing and analytics software
- Develop and optimize algorithms for signal processing and image formation
- Transition code from prototype to production using Python, Go, and C++
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical challenges
- Work within containerized environments and AWS cloud services
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field
- 5+ years in RF, systems, or signal processing engineering
- Strong grasp of SAR imaging fundamentals and complex signal processing
- Proficiency in Python, C++/Go, AWS, Docker, and Git
- US citizenship with active or attainable TS/SCI clearance
