Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Regional HSE Manager, the Project HSE Lead facilitates all aspects of safety and health on a specific project. The role works closely with the Area HSE Lead, project management, and jobsite personnel.

Education: Competent Person certifications strongly preferred (construction‑related).
- Understanding of project work plans, drawings, and technical plans for hazard analysis and inspection.
- Familiarity with state and federal standards and ability to implement applicable standards.
Skills:
- Conducts safety meetings and presents to project and client personnel.
- Performs investigations, root cause analysis, implements corrective actions, and documents reports.
- Works full time on an assigned project site.
- Develops and maintains project‑specific HASP, AHA, EMP, and monitors adherence to plans.
- Performs daily hazard hunts and addresses employee observations.
- Maintains project safety information, documents, and metrics.
- Provides and ensures proper inspection and maintenance of safety supplies and equipment.
- Conducts incident/injury intervention, escorts injured workers to medical care as needed.
- Investigates and reports incidents, implements corrective actions.
- Communicates with Area HSE Lead and Regional HSE Manager for updates and support.
- Tracks, trends, and documents project safety performance metrics.
- Has authority to stop unsafe actions and behaviors on site.
- Working outdoors in various temperatures and conditions.
- Wearing various PPE (respirators, fall protection, etc.).
- Traveling on land, water, and aircraft.
- Sitting and standing for several hours.
- Lifting, climbing, pulling, pushing, squatting for various periods.
