Overview
We are seeking a Lead GIS Data Architect to join our TRC Digital team.

We are the trusted advisor and implementation partner for electric and gas utilities undergoing digital transformation and can offer deep experience across utility Geospatial & OT systems.
Responsibilities- GIS Strategy Development: Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business goals and objectives. Develop and articulate a GIS strategy that aligns with the overall business strategy. Identify opportunities to leverage GIS technologies for improved business processes and decision-making.
- Spatial Data Management: Design and implement effective spatial data management strategies. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of spatial data within the GIS.
- System Architecture and Integration: Design GIS architectures that support scalability, reliability, and performance. Integrate GIS solutions with existing business systems and applications. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
- Business Process Optimization: Analyze and optimize business processes through GIS solutions. Identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains using spatial analysis and modeling.
- GIS Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce GIS standards and best practices. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in GIS technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to ensure successful implementation and adoption of GIS solutions.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for GIS solutions and processes.
- 12+ years of experience designing and implementing GIS solutions
- Hands-on experience sizing and configuring multi-environment enterprise GIS solutions
- Experience designing and implementing integrated GIS solutions, particularly expertise in integrating with IT/OT systems like ADMS, OMS, AMI / MDM, etc.
- Ability to translate business requirements to a proposed technical solution
- Ability to execute all phases of the custom solution delivery process (design/build/test/release/support)
- Experience designing and implementing GIS platforms like Esri ArcGIS Enterprise deployments (ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro) or GE Small World solutions.
- Experience creating and delivering technical software documentation/artifacts needed to support approval of custom solutions
- Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure a plus
- Enterprise security and networking experience is a plus
- Travel to client sites up to 25%.

Compensation
:
In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
