• Lead the BIM designers in preparation of engineering drawings
• Develop, review, and modify DIV 27 specifications
• Conduct site visits and review technical documents
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Sign and seal telecommunications design packages
• Mentor other team members
• Collaborate with the lead engineer and/or department manager to improve department efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Communication Engineering from an ABET-accredited college
• Minimum 8 years of experience actively designing or leading designs for telecommunications structured cabling systems
• Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA, BICSI, and NFPA 70 standards
• Proficiency with Bluebeam
• Self‑motivation to coordinate with other disciplines, project managers, and clients
• Excellent project management skills
• Familiarity with responding to RFPs
• Experience providing QA and checking of telecommunications systems designed by others
• Experience with startup and commissioning of telecommunications systems
• Experience creating and maintaining project budgets and schedules
• Experience identifying and mitigating company risk
• PE license (multiple licenses preferred)

• 4 years of telecommunications design experience in data centers
• Experience with low‑voltage systems such as security, audio/visual, and wireless
• Working knowledge of Revit and Navisworks design software platforms
• Knowledge of telecom infrastructure for controls and security systems
• Proficiency with CSI or AIA specification writing
• RCDD credential
