Baltimore Bilingual Elementary Tutor

About the Role

Hey Tutor has partnered with a local school district in Baltimore to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to Elementary School students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher, or be currently enrolled in college.

We are hiring Spanish Bilingual English & Math Tutors to support students in grades k–5 during the school day. This is a great opportunity for college students, aspiring educators, and education professionals looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and meaningful work in their community.

• $22–$26 per hour, based on education and experience

• Monday–Friday availability required
• Must be available between 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• School-day hours only

• Tutor small groups of Elementary students without direct teacher supervision
• Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials
• Create a welcoming, engaging, and structured learning environment
• Support positive student behavior and participation
• Track attendance and student progress using the Hey Tutor Dashboard
• Assist with baseline and summative assessments when requested
• Escort students to and from designated areas on campus
• Clock in/out daily using Deputy
• Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager or school site

• Completed AA degree or higher, OR currently enrolled in college (required)
• Experience working with children or tutoring (preferred)
• Comfortable tutoring Elementary Math and English Language Arts (ELA)
• Ability to manage small groups independently
• Comfortable working in a classroom setting
• Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check (provided by Hey Tutor)
