Position: Student Worker/Apprentice- Rising 11th and 12th Grade BCPS Students ONLY
Job Description

Assists a variety of schools and central offices which include but not limited to; school-based lunchroom assistants for elementary schools, Business and Facilities, IT Support Tech, CTE (Career and Technical Education).

Current BCPS high school junior or senior students.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Current students enrolled in specific programs preferred.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Citizenship, residency or work VISA in United States required.

Salary: $15.00 per hour

  • Be sure to answer all criminal background questions. If you answer "yes" to any of the criminal background questions you must provide a written explanation. A criminal offense does not necessarily exclude an applicant from employment with BCPS. Factors such as passage of time since the offense, the nature of the violation, and the extent of rehabilitation will be taken into consideration.

Conditions of Employment :
  • Student workers do not have to pay for the cost of fingerprinting. However, all student workers are required to complete I-9 and E-verify documents in order to begin work. You will receive an email congratulating you for successfully completing the pre-employment paperwork for BCPS. The next step is for you to contact the Office of Investigations and Records Management at  to schedule an in-person appointment for review of the I-9 forms and two forms of required identification.

    The location of the Office of Fingerprinting is 6901 Charles Street, Building B, Towson, MD 21204. .
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide proper identification and documentation of eligibility for employment in the US.
