Head of School – Ahadu Christian Academy
Ahadu Christian Academy (ACA) seeks a visionary, mission-driven Head of School to lead the Academy through its launch and into long-term academic, spiritual, and organizational excellence. The Head of School serves as the chief instructional, spiritual, and operational leader, stewarding the school’s Christ-centered mission while building a sustainable, high-quality educational institution.
This role requires a leader who is equally effective in foundational startup leadership and ongoing school oversight—someone who can build systems from the ground up, intentionally shape culture, and guide faculty, students, and families with wisdom, clarity, and grace.
The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep commitment to Christian education, strong instructional and administrative expertise, and a working understanding of faith-based education and whole-child development within a diverse learning community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead ACA's academic, spiritual, and operational vision as the school's chief executive
- Build and model a Christ-centered school culture characterized by grace, integrity, respect, and academic rigor
- Translate the Academy’s vision into actionable policies, programs, and daily practices
- Oversee development of the initial academic program, instructional model, scope, and sequence
- Recruit, hire, and mentor founding faculty and staff
- Oversee enrollment, admissions, daily operations, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as the primary communicator and relationship-builder with families, the Board, and the community
- Manage the school budget in partnership with the Executive Director; support fund development
- Drive continuous improvement and prepare the school for future accreditation
- Previous experience in a private or faith-based school setting
- Demonstrated instructional and organizational leadership skills
- Proven experience supervising staff and managing budgets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Administrator or Principal certification (or equivalent leadership experience)
- Teaching or administrative certification from an accredited institution
- Experience building, scaling, or launching an educational organization
- Background in nonprofit school finance and fund development

Compensationand Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 annually
, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated leadership capacity.
Ahadu Christian Academy offers a competitive compensation package that may include:

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, leadership track record, and alignment with the school’s mission and vision.
