Overview
The Instructional Technology Coordinator drives the effective integration of technology in educational settings by exemplifying best practices in technology-enhanced instructional design. This role supports the creation and implementation of instructional materials, fostering a unified vision among staff and educators. The Instructional Technology Coordinator works with school leadership to assess technology-related professional development needs and designs, refines, and delivers professional learning programs that enhance student outcomes.
These programs are aimed at equipping educators with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively integrate technology into their teaching practices, ultimately leading to improved student outcomes.
- Valid teaching certification or professional educator license preferred
- Instructional Technology or Educational Technology certification preferred
Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE), Google Certified Educator (Level 1 or
2), or comparable educational technology certifications preferred
- Bachelor’s degree(s) in education, special education, instructional technology, educational technology, curriculum & instruction, or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, preferred.
Minimum of five years of classroom experience in an educational setting is required, including extensive experience with digital classroom technologies.
