AboutThe Role
As a Training Facilitator, you will work directly with MND’s Training Director to support the development, implementation, and presentation of our training curriculum. MND’s Training Facilitators are prepared to develop job readiness skills, tools, and training, incorporating topics directly related to meet the needs of our young adult clients, while also engaging a broader demographic of clients and business/hiring partners. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone passionate about education, community impact, equity, and making a positive difference in people’s lives through employment.
DutiesAnd Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Training Director in all necessary areas, including industry‑related skills and knowledge in all forms (written, online, and video)
- Serve as Training Facilitator when needed online and in‑person
- Perform regional and national industry research to assist the organization in identifying future growth industry sectors for training opportunities for clients
- Manage industry‑related materials and data to best support curriculum development
- Engage clients and other business community stakeholders to participate in training
- Conduct surveys and assessments to support the Training Director
- Collaborate with staff to brainstorm additional industry options and opportunities
- Assist with all technology aspects, including, but not limited to, You Tube, Kahoot, Survey Monkey, Zoom, Email, Office 365, Canva, Microsoft, and Google platforms
- Attend all partnership, services, and staff meetings as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Create and maintain a training room that is welcoming, appropriate, and conducive to the success of our participating clients.
- Provide additional client support, working with the coaching team, to support the completion, certification, and employment of MND clients.
- Gain an understanding of MND’s funders’ expectations to ensure compliance with goals, expected outcomes, and requirements.
- Guarantee timely and accurate completion of all responsibilities, including training, tracking, reporting, and additional tasks.
- High level of diverse computer literacy, including various platforms and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in training, technology, or curriculum development
- Excellent and engaging presentation skills
- Effective oral and written communication
- Experience working with diverse populations and young adults is a MUST
- Ability to learn industry skills and certification needs for career advancement
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
