Overview

Computers, Adjunct Faculty - Continuing Education. Part-time adjunct instructors are needed to teach college level non-credit Community Education courses that focus on the following: basic computers and Microsoft Office applications, business solutions, desktop publishing and graphics software, and Google suite for personal and business users. Classes are typically held evenings (6:00 pm - 8:30 pm) and Saturdays. Pay rates for non-credit Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience.

CCBC offers the region’s most expansive selection of degree, certificate and workplace certification programs across 3 campuses plus 3 CCBC centers and off-site community locations.

Campus locations include Catonsville, Dundalk, Essex, MD, with remote classes also available.

Responsibilities
  • Teach college level non-credit Community Education courses in listed topics.
  • Prepare and present course material and assessments as required by the college.
  • Complete all forms and documentation related to the course and any documentation required by the college.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be a subject matter expert in the proposed teaching topic.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Experience teaching or training in an adult setting is preferred.

  • Deferred Compensation Plan — 457(b) offered through VOYA Financial Advisors, Inc. The 457(b) salary reduction authorization form is needed. The form is available on SharePoint Forms/Human Resources Forms.

Parking:
Free. Must obtain a parking permit from the Department of Public Safety to use on all campuses.
