After School Teacher

Schedule Requirement:
Monday–Friday | 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Firm Schedule)

. Our School Age program supports children and families by creating safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environments that foster growth, confidence, and leadership.

We are seeking a School Age Lead Teacher who is passionate about education, dependable, and committed to supporting children during critical after-school hours.

• Lead and implement age-appropriate, engaging after-school activities aligned with child development best practices

• Plan and supervise structured enrichment, homework support, recreation, and social-emotional learning

• Maintain active supervision at all times to ensure health, safety, and compliance

• Model positive behavior guidance and classroom management strategies

• Maintain accurate attendance, documentation, and incident reports

• Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members

• Support and mentor assistant teachers and aides

• Ensure classrooms and shared spaces remain clean, organized, and safe

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

• 45-Hour School Age Certification and/or 90-Hour Preschool Certification (or willingness to obtain)

• CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred)

• CPR & First Aid certification (current or ability to obtain)

• Experience working with school-age children (5–12 years)

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
