WTCI is part of the more than 300 World Trade Center network organizations spanning 130 countries, serves in the World Bank Private Sector Liaison Officers Network across 100 countries, and has been a key partner with the US State Department for more than 20 years.

The World Trade Center Institute (WTCI) is currently seeking a Coordinator of Fellowships. WTCI’s three leadership and professional development fellowship programs focus on cultivating purpose‑driven global leaders of all ages. The high school, college, and professional cohorts come together to gain valuable connections, discuss new trends and ideas, and provide leadership in solving global challenges.

These fellowships include the Bowe Fellowship for Global Executives, Albrecht Fellowship for College Students, Albrecht Fellowship for High School students, and the Kielty Distinguished Executives. The position will have heavier programmatic and recruitment involvement with the Albrecht Fellowships, but will also significantly support the Bowe Fellowship and Kielty programs’ administration and session delivery. Beyond event planning support, serve as a thought partner in development and planning program curriculum, ensuring sessions cover timely topics and engaging speakers.

This individual will report directly to the Manager of Fellowships with guidance from the Vice President of Global Engagement & Fellowships. WTCI operates on a four‑day work week (Monday through Thursday), but some work will need to be completed on Fridays, with some sessions taking place on Saturdays (eight sessions from January through May). All WTCI employees are required to work some evenings, as dictated by the WTCI’s events calendar and other position‑specific networking needs.

This position will require in‑office presence twice per week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Bowe Fellowship and Kielty Global Executives – work directly with the VP of Global Engagement and Fellows in supporting the program's administration, session/event planning and delivery process.
  • Albrecht Fellowships – work directly with the Manager of Fellowships in conducting participant recruitment and program administration, session design and logistics.
  • Lead all Fellowships budget management activities, including collecting tuition, processing, and tracking expenses.
  • Utilize Salesforce, Asana, and other platforms for project management and data collection efforts. Enter and track program data in Salesforce, including Fellows’ information, speaker information, expenses, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to ensure that the Fellowships website is up to date and social media efforts are on schedule.
  • Own packing for fellowship sessions, including gathering printed materials, catering and snacks, banners and pop‑ups and other materials as needed for each session.
  • Set up and break down the fellowship session space with banners/signage, pop‑ups, food, printed materials, tables and chairs, technology and A/V, and other materials as needed for each session.
  • Own and manage session materials by packing, transporting, and organizing supplies according to WTCI storage policy.
  • Be the main point of contact for the day of logistics at each session venue.
  • Research grants and funding opportunities for the Albrecht Fellowship.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
