Digital Media Production, Adjunct Faculty

Digital Media Production, Adjunct faculty are needed to teach Media Literacy, Media and Video Production, Digital Filmmaking, and Editing for day, evening, weekend, and/or online classes.

Location:

Catonsville, Dundalk & Essex Campuses.

Compensation:
Level 1 – $1,085 per credit hour.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate learning via preparation and delivery of instruction.
  • Cooperate with College support staff in timely submission of materials and grades.
  • Coordinate activities with the Program Director or Coordinator.
  • Abide by College-wide policies and procedures regarding classroom conduct.
  • Employ a variety of teaching strategies to meet a diverse student population.
  • Adhere to scheduled time of class/lab.
  • Develop a course syllabus in keeping with program and College policies.
  • Ensure program-specific evaluation methods are administered and completed consistently and equitably.
  • Monitor student performance regularly and provide feedback within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s Degree in Electronic Media and Film, Digital Media Production, or Video Production; or Bachelor’s Degree and seven years of professional experience plus a portfolio.
  • Two (2) years of teaching experience.
  • Experience using classroom technology and learning management systems preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft applications knowledge.
  • Prior college teaching experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of screenplay writing and formatting preferred.
