Clinical Associate in the Johns Hopkins Division of Infectious Diseases serving as Medical Director at two sexual health and wellness clinics at Baltimore City Health Department (BCHD). The BCHD clinics serve a diverse population residing in Baltimore city. Current clinical priorities include reducing the burden of congenital syphilis and expanding provision of long-acting HIV treatment and prevention.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based, data-driven, and compassionate care for people with HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. Provision of hepatitis C testing and treatment; HIV PrEP and STI PEP.
- Under the supervision of the Clinical Chief to supervise a team comprising 4 FT and 3 PT APPs and 3 FT RNs.
- Opportunities for public health-focused QA/QI and research will be encouraged.
- MD/DO board certified or eligible in Infectious Diseases. Exceptional candidates board-certified in other specialties will be considered.
- Experience in the management of HIV/HCV/STIs.
- Spanish-speakers are particularly welcome to apply.
