Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Physician Assistant for our Virginia/ Maryland offices.
Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable.
Physician Assistant Requirements: must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia/ Maryland.

The Pain Management Physician Assistant duties include but not limited to:
* Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns;
* Reviewing patient's medical history:
* Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines;
* Consulting with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain;
* Using knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non-invasive treatment options;
* Performing joint injections;
* Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self-care strategies;
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients;
* Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
* Active VA and/or MD license;
* Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred;
* Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision-making.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
* Dedication to providing compassionate and patient-centered care, with a focus on improving the quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain.
* Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:Evaluate and treat pain management/ orthopaedic patients

Working Hours:
Office hours Monday-Friday 7A-5P (8 hour shifts
