Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urologist to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing and treating urological conditions, providing high-quality patient care, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This position requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of urological conditions using advanced techniques and procedures.
- Perform surgical interventions as necessary, including catheterization and minimally invasive surgeries.
- Manage acute pain management strategies for patients undergoing urological treatments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to data collection for ongoing studies.
- Provide education to patients regarding their conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
- Utilize EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinical
Works for efficient patient management. - Engage in telehealth consultations to expand access to care for patients.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of an accredited residency in Urology.
- Board certification or eligibility in Urology is preferred.
- Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine is advantageous.
- Proficiency in CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems is required.
- Familiarity with clinical trials and research methodologies is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience administering injections and performing procedures such as spinal taps or dialysis is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their expertise in areas such as acute care, geriatrics, pediatrics, pain management, infectious disease care, and more. We are looking for a Urologist who is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services while contributing to the advancement of our medical practice.
